Mindspace, a rapidly-growing global provider of inspiring co-working spaces, announced today that it will open its first co-working space in Poland at the trendy Hala Koszyki in Warsaw. The new location will open in October 2017 and will span three floors and over 3,000 sqm. Mindspace Hala Koszyki will become home for 450 members: teams from innovative enterprises, small and medium businesses, technology startups, as well as entrepreneurs and freelancers.

Mindspace is a global provider of inspiring co-working spaces for teams of all sizes, with locations in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Tel Aviv, and now Warsaw. Mindspace was founded in 2014 by Dan Zakai and Yotam Alroy and raised to date over $15 million to expand globally, with new spaces opening later this year in Europe and the United States. Mindspace prides itself on offering an upscale co-working environment with an inspiring boutique design, unparalleled level of service, and a vibrant real-world community. Among Mindspace’s customers are world-leading brands, such as Samsung, Barclays Bank, Euronews, and M&C Saatchi.

Mindspace offers hassle-free comfort and productive offices, with stunning lounges and meeting rooms, and fully-equipped kitchens. The Mindspace global community of over 2,500 entrepreneurs, freelancers, startups, investment firms, and innovation teams from leading enterprises enjoys weekly networking events, professional meetups, and happy hours in a cozy, collaborative atmosphere. Mindspace’s flexible membership options let members focus on growing their businesses in an inspiring work environment. Mindspace will be the first co-working provider in Poland offering its local community members direct access to an international business network, and especially to the vibrant startup and technology ecosystems in Israel, Germany, and later this year, the United States. It also offers its community members valuable benefits and discounts from global and local service providers such as Amazon, Microsoft, nearby restaurants, car rentals, hotels, gyms, and spas.

Mindspace’s co-working space will be located at Hala Koszyki, the trendiest dining and lifestyle destination in Warsaw. The iconic Hala Koszyki market is located at Koszykowa 63, Śródmieście borough, Warsaw. It was originally built in 1906, and later demolished. Griffin Real Estate acquired the complex in 2012 and completely revitalised the property, with the original Art Nouveau style and some of the original building’s elements. The new Hala Koszyki has a variety of concept restaurants, grocery shops, and an art exhibition. The project was awarded “The Biggest Business Achievement of the Year” prize during Eurobuild Awards 2014.

“We’re excited to announce the upcoming opening of Mindspace Warsaw at Hala Koszyki,” said Dan Zakai, Founder and CEO of Mindspace. “Warsaw is an energetic market where the forces of business and innovation are driving the city forward in an amazing pace. This creates a need for co-working spaces for startups, small businesses, and forward-looking enterprises. Mindspace’s approach to work and lifestyle aligns perfectly with the vibe of the revitalized Hala Koszyki, demonstrating how classic foundations coupled with inspiring design can uplift both people and businesses.”

“Mindspace has set itself as a bright and unique player in the co-working market.” said Artur Apostoł, Head of Real Estate Operations in Griffin Premium RE, the owner of Hala Koszyki. “We’re certain that Mindspace will advance the entrepreneurial scene in Warsaw and set Hala Koszyki as the place to be for both people and businesses in Warsaw.”

Hala Koszyki is owned by Griffin Premium RE, a company operating in a REIT-like structure, listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange that owns prime office and mixed-use high-street properties located in the center or on the main streets of the largest cities in Poland. The property is managed by Echo Polska Properties.
