Favorite Christmas movie: Home Alone
Why did you choose this movie?
I loved this movie! It was a tradition for me to watch it every Christmas with my brothers. At some point we tried to imitate some of the traps that were used with the robbers at home, and my mother freaked out! What I like about this film is that everyone can “believe” in himself or herself and be independent.

Favorite Christmas movie: How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Why did you choose this movie?
This movie, based on Dr. Seuss’s book, and starring Jim Carrey, is my favorite Christmas movie because the young girl, Cindy Lou Who, decides to befriend the nasty Grinch. She manages to see the good in him. So, for me this movie is really about finding the good side in each and every human.

Favorite Christmas movie: Donald Duck and His Friends Wish You a Happy Christmas
Why did you choose this movie?
Every Christmas Eve at 3 PM the whole of Sweden – where I’m originally from – watches the same thing: Donald Duck and His Friends Wish You a Happy Christmas. It’s a tradition that every family in Sweden has that marks the official start of Christmas. I’ve watched it every year since I was a little kid, and it is a tradition that I love dearly.
What I like most about this movie is that it’s filled with everyone’s favorite Disney characters and that it spreads so much joy.

Favorite Christmas movie: The Polar Express
Why did you choose this movie?
The Polar Express has wonderful messages about the importance of believing, the value of friendship, respect for leadership and courage, and the beauty of being kind to others. The story focuses on a boy who doubts whether or not Santa exists. He goes on an adventure that will change his life and will make him believe in magic again.
While it is not at the top of the holiday wish list for many, it comes pretty close thanks to its undeniable charm. In short, this is one train you should board!

Favorite Christmas movie: The Holiday
Why did you choose this movie?
I like it because it is basically a double rom-com. The story develops exactly the way you expect it to, but it does it twice! It is a simple feel-good movie. The cast is great, the characters are authentic, funny and bold. Definitely a yearly must-watch for me.

Let’s be honest, we all wanted to be Kevin in this film because he got to do some really cool stuff. For example, Kevin was able to set off some fireworks, use an air rifle, eat ice cream for dinner, take his sled down the stairs and watch anything he wanted on TV.
